Repressive Corruption ~

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother, bullshit

I try very hard (most of the time anyway) to think well of the human race.  It tends to be a bit of a challenge for me on the best of days as I have seen and experienced too much of the nasty bad that it’s members can dish out.

And sadly, the past several years haven’t been helpful, what with the wars against islamofacists and their terrible and brutal jihad against anyone not agreeing with their insanity, the infiltration by communists into our government over the years leading to the repressive corruption now so prevalent in our halls of liberty and the willful blindness, or ignorance, of so many Americans to see how close we are to crossing that thin line into tyranny.  There’s also the breakdown of society over the past several decades brought on by the deceitful and treacherous social engineering, blame-America-first power hungry elitists found in our universities and media.  Political correctness and moral relativity rule the day now.  There is no right or wrong for these people – just what ever serves them best, usually coming at great cost to someone else.

As we approach the Christian holiday once known as Christmas, the malevolent grinches have come out once again to spout their anti-god rancor to all who will listen, seemingly having no comprehension of the reason for the season.  The media plays right along, giving way too much airtime to the blatherings of these discontents.

I have mainly stopped watching the state propaganda news on TV and most of what comes out of America-bashing Hollywood because it’s mostly lies and I can’t abide liars anymore.

The thought of 20 little bodies lying dead on a school room floor haunts me.  Maybe because there have been so many children’s deaths feverishly reported by a sensationalist media in recent years.  Maybe because too many children have died because of power hungry politicians (all over the world) and their selfish and disconnected dogma legislating.

The immediate politicizing by the Left for their gun control agenda before the bodies of the little Sandy Hook children were even removed from the school exemplifies the level of souless lunacy that has become the standard of today’s society.

Gun control is not the issue, nor is it the answer.  You can walk into your kitchen and pick out a knife and do terrible damage as was reported from China last week.  If gun control was the answer then a question to ask is why the Sandy Hook tragedy occurred at all with Connecticut having the fourth strictest gun laws in this country.  Could the answer be that criminals and mentally ill people tend not to pay any attention to laws?  (Total homicides in Chicago rose to 480 for the first eleven months of 2012; a 21 percent increase from last year. Chicago having the strictest gun laws on the books…hmmm)

Read this article for more info on the effectiveness (or lack thereof) of gun control:

Why I’m against gun control

What needs to be addressed is the state of our society where the government has taken over our lives and proclaimed a baby a punishment, the family unit is under attack by the alternative living activists, too many parents don’t parent because they bought the leftists’ crap about being your kid’s buddy, children’s self esteem is deemed paramount over discipline and everyone gets a trophy if they earned one or not and mental health issues are treated with drug cocktails or not treated at all, due to the meddling of overzealous civil rights activists.

And we have let them bully us into going along with their debased experiments and indoctrination of our children, or we have just closed our eyes and not paid attention because it’s just easier that way.

We’ve allowed these people to rewrite our history, take God out of our schools, censor our beliefs and condemn our lifestyles, steal our property with outrageous and unconstitutional taxes, silence us, ignore us, insult us and control us.

The minority of discontents have taken over and we’ve let them.  Time to tell them no more and call them what they are – the enemy of all that is good and humane.

I mean, if your Uncle Charlie was spouting all this crap to your kids, wouldn’t you step in and tell him to stop it and think maybe he wasn’t that good an influence for your kids?

To the So-called Progressive Do-Gooders ~

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother

Take your muddled, crisis-oriented, for the common good bullshit and shove it.  I’ve had more than enough of corrupt, power-hungry, manipulating ignoramuses running things and those weak-kneed, milquetoasts letting them.

We’re better than that.

The articles (below) about the latest group to sign on with First Do-Gooders Michele Obama’s and Jill Biden’s self-righteous and holier-than-thou project, Joining Forces, and the obesity programs to help those poor, helpless, broken Military families just get through another day, made my blood boil over.  They deserve much more respect than this Statist nonsense.

Social Workers Join Movement to Support Military Families

By Lisa Daniel  American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, July 25, 2012 – Social workers today became the latest field of professionals to sign on to help service members, veterans and their families in a broad effort as part of the White House’s “Joining Forces” campaign.

Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, made the announcement in a speech here at the annual convention of the National Association of Social Workers. Biden started Joining Forces with First Lady Michelle Obama last year to mobilize all sectors of American society to support the military community.

“We have asked a lot of our military since Sept. 11, 2001,” Biden, whose daughter is a social worker, told the audience. “They — and their families — have responded to the need for more frequent and longer deployments. As they have done in the past, our troops and their families have answered the call with no complaint.

“But they shoulder a tremendous burden,” Biden said.

Biden told of servicemen and women who are highly skilled on the battlefield, but who struggle to translate their skills to civilian education or job applications; who can communicate with Afghan tribal leaders, but not their own families; and whose lasting emotional reactions to war “are natural, human responses” that challenge relationships.

“They are not a sign of weakness, … and they should never be a source of shame or stigma,” she said. “But they are very real, and left untreated, can have drastic consequences.”

Healthy Food for Kids Is a Matter of National Security

Posted by Rosye Cloud

The Army operates child development programs in over fifty percent of the states and several foreign countries, literally around the globe. Ensuring children receive healthy meals and snacks has always been a challenge. Although eligible programs participate in the USDA food program, there is a wide variety of food choices that qualify for reimbursement, some of which are not as healthy as others. Encouraged by Ms. Obama’s initiative to reduce childhood obesity, a series of nutritionally balanced menus were developed by Mary Ellen Pratt, Chief of Army Child Development programs.

The idea started after visiting several installation Army child development programs and seeing first-hand the types of food children were being served – both in quantity and quality. Ms. Pratt said, “I remember saying to someone after looking at a full food cart of fish sticks, saltine crackers, fried potatoes, corn and milk and saying, “Oh good, I haven’t missed watching the meal service” and her reply, “Oh, yes, you did – those are the leftovers.” The food was not just unhealthy, much of it was undesirable from the child’s perspective. Ms. Pratt goes on to say, “I also began listening to the ideas of the “Let’s Move” campaign and realizing I had the ability to really affect a huge number of children if I just did something to fix the problem.”

This is part of a three prong approach in the Army Child Development program – the other two which have just begun implement the “I am Moving, I am Learning” Curriculum in their programs as well as purchasing portable gardens for all of their facilities. Additional information regarding children’s health and nutrition can be found at

What’s next?  Controlling their sex lives?  Oh, yeah. Never mind.

The Report: Strengthening Our Military Families: Meeting America’s Commitment

President Obama issued a government-wide review to bring together the resources of the Federal Government, identify new opportunities across the public and private sectors, and lay the foundation for a coordinated approach to supporting and engaging military families for years to come.

Download the Report here.

This intrusion by the know-it-all, tyrannical, bigoted, lying, cheating thugs, of the Progressive political , into American families’ lives, military or civilian, has no place in this country.  First of all, when has any government program put forth by the left side of the aisle ever been successful past the first couple of years??  Welfare?  The VA?  OSHA?

The incessant steamrolling of people’s beliefs, thoughts, opinions, way of life, religious options and business practices is damned annoying and downright dangerous for the future of this country.  Regulating businesses to death does not bring in more revenue.  Keeping people dependent on the govt teat does not bring forth an independent, self-sufficient entrepreneurial spirit.  Constantly labeling people broken or oppressed does not build them up.

And now you are going after the Military and their families?  You have screeched for years now that you “support the troops”.  So, why are you doing everything possible to break the Military?  Cutting troop numbers, cutting defense spending for the boots on the ground, screwing with their voting rights and benefits isn’t what I’d call “supporting” them.  Labeling them “broken”, “walking time bombs”, “potential terrorists” isn’t very helpful or supportive either.  You might want to look up the definition of the word, support.  It’s a positive term, not a negative one.

You all have been trying to either destroy the Military or change it into a politically correct, socially-engineered, mamby-pamby, social justice nation building political pile of crap for decades now.  And you are gaining ground.  But what has been brought forth can be taken out.

In fact, everything you stand for, whether it comes under the heading of Statism, Marxism, Socialism, Communism, Social Democracy is un-American and deadly to the health of any society it touches.

So, just where the hell do you get off:

~ Ignoring the United States Constitution, except when it fits your political or social engineering agenda?  It’s the Law of this country.  There is a lawful way to amend it  – you might want to familiarize yourself with that concept.

~ picking victims and offenders, crucifying anyone who doesn’t play along?  Demeans both.  But then, demeaning those you can use or those who oppose you is one of your best practices, isn’t it?

~ insulting and badmouthing people who have a different perspective than yours on life’s situations?  Sadly, that’s all that’s left for you when someone states facts and you have just opinions based on emotions.

~ believing that you know better than everyone else about everything and therefore should be in control of everyone’s lives.  You don’t and you shouldn’t.

~ making stuff up (what those of us with ethics call lying) to take down a foe or get your way legislatively?  Cheating and lying is such a terrific way to “win”.  And you want to tell us how to raise our kids?

~ thinking you can just squat your butts down anywhere you please, including private property, just because you have a CAUSE?  What part of “private” don’t you understand?  Apparently all of it.

~ thinking the laws don’t apply to you just just because you’re so “righteous” in your idealism?  The ends justify the means always for you – because you know best.  No and no.

~ destroying all that makes America exceptional?  Why so you continue to live here if it’s such a dreadful place?  There are so many other countries that would suit your needs better:  Venezuela, Cuba, France…just to name a few.

~ revising history to make America always the “Bad Guy”?  That’s just silly – there are actual documents to disprove your rantings about “imperialistic, bullying, racist, oppressive Amerika”.  But then, when have facts ever gotten in the way of your getting your way?  So now we have a few generations of American kids who have no idea how or why this country came into being and why it is exceptional or that socialism and communism are doomed to fail – always.

~ determining who is “broken” or “oppressed” or “helpless”?  How’s that war on poverty going?  And just how many people have been disappeared in the night by the oppressors here?

~ ramming your beliefs down everyone’s throat – or else?  All in the name of diversity, multiculturalism and tolerance, I’m sure.

~ shutting down businesses whose owners have different values than you?  Now that’s real tolerant of you all.

~ creating crisis to control the masses?  Really, all you can do is destroy.  Too bad, because there are more of us who are determined to create – for the sake of our children’s future.  You will not get in our way.

~ calling someone racist for disagreeing with a person of color? What the hell does that mean anyway ~ a “person of color”?  We all are “colored” one way or another.  Or have you deemed “white” not a color now?

Everything you meddle in turns to shite.

So, stay the hell out of our homes, bedrooms, churches, businesses, cars, schools, neighborhoods and Military.

And take your propagandists social workers and healthy food cabals programs with you. We can help ourselves, thank you very much.

You’re not welcome here.

And, why yes, there are some things that just should not be tolerated ~ ever.

Obamacare TAX ~

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother

The Progressives are at it again – changing the meaning of words.

Penalty now means tax.

And one, count ‘em, ONE black-robed charlatan just ripped the Constitution in half and threw it on the floor to continue to be stomped on by America-hating, Liberty-erasing, Socialist-loving cretins for years to come.

Obamacare, the Supreme Court, and Obama’s Tax Lie

And the State Propaganda “news” continues in their water carrying for their Messiah:

Zeke Emmanuel, co-author of the chilling Principles for allocation of scarce medical interventions.

Another perspective:

Va. attorney general Ken Cuccinelli: Supreme Court ruling isn’t actually so bad

Going to have to look into this some more, especially since he’s running for Governor here in VA.

Is There a Silver Lining to the Supreme Court’s Obamacare Decision?

Sadly, with all the spineless Republicans and barely any leadership in Congress, this doesn’t give me much hope…but I’m sure as hell rooting for change.

Today Is A Travesty In Our Country’s History ~

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother

I really don’t have the words yet to explain the state I’m in over the SCOTUS decision on Obmamcare or the Democrats who, after calling all those who want to know the truth about Fast and Furious, racist, walked out of the House today during the vote on the Contempt Resolution on Holder, or the immigration officials ordered by the Federal government to pull out of Arizona.

How many more insults will the American people take from this regime, formerly known as a government consisting of three equal branches?? Will this Obamacare travesty be the straw or is this country so easily sold down the river?
We must continue fighting ~ for our kids and their kids, as our kids in uniform fight for all of us.
A little more prayin’ wouldn’t hurt either…

Safety Before Liberty?

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother

The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.

Samuel Adams

This drone thing has been a constant and disturbing buzz in my head for the past few months. I grew up on stories of Hitler’s SS Goon squads and Russia’s KGB agents doing very intrusive and nasty and usually lethal activities against their country’s citizens  Never, ever did I believe my country would be walking (running?) in that direction. Now, I’m no pollyanna when it comes to the guvmint ~ and I’ve never been a conspiracy believer – yes, I know that our government has done some things crossing that fine line of ethics, to say the least.  I mean, come on…the government is chock full of politicians.  Ethics??  Not so much.

But, jumpin’ Joseph!  Drones becoming a fixture in American skies sent out not only by the police force (if the powers-that-be have their way) but from the EPA??  An unconstitutional gov’t department that shouldn’t even exist spying on innocent cows?!

Where Is The Outrage?

The photos that the drones will take may be retained and used or even distributed to others in the government so long as the “recipient is reasonably perceived to have a specific, lawful governmental function” in requiring them. And for the first time since the Civil War, the federal government will deploy military personnel inside the United States and publicly acknowledge that it is deploying them “to collect information about U.S. persons.”

It gets worse. If the military personnel see something of interest from a drone, they may apply to a military judge or “military commander” for permission to conduct a physical search of the private property that intrigues them. And, any “incidentally acquired information” can be retained or turned over to local law enforcement.

The quoted phrases above are extracted from a now-public 30-page memorandum issued by President Obama’s Secretary of the Air Force on April 23, 2012.

Obama Administration to Top Pharmaceutical Exec Howard Solomon: You’re Fired

The “action against the CEO of Forest Labs is a game changer,” said Richard Westling, a corporate defense attorney in Nashville who has represented executives in different industries against the government.

According to Mr. Westling, “It would be a mistake to see this as solely a health-care industry issue. The use of sanctions such as exclusion and debarment to punish individuals where the government is unable to prove a direct legal or regulatory violation could have wide-ranging impact.”

Anyone who has a business should be at the very least, incredulous and more to the point outraged.  Glad to see that Forest Labs is fighting back.

(PJM Exclusive) Holder’s DOJ Scuttled More Terror-Related Prosecutions

It’s been a wild two weeks since my exclusive Pajamas Media article revealing that political appointees at the Department of Justice had scuttled pending terror finance indictments of several prominent Islamic leaders as part of the Holy Land Foundation case, including Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) co-founder Omar Ahmad. A high-placed DOJ source told me the case was nixed to prevent embarrassment to the Obama administration and to avoid inflaming the Muslim community. House Homeland Security Committee chairman Rep. Peter King then sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding answers about why these prosecutions were stopped.

Must be because they are so confused as to who are the actual terrorists.  Someone needs to send them to Islamafascist 101.

Cultivating the Seeds of Knowledge; Growing a Greener Future for our Nation

Led by the Department of Education, in close partnership with the EPA and CEQ, the Green Ribbon Schools program will incentivize and reward schools that help to ensure that our students receive an education second to none by improving the health and environmental footprint of nation’s schools. To prepare our children for the clean energy economy of the future, Green Ribbon schools will be those that incorporate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and environmental stewardship into their curricula.

Read the post here.

Let’s recruit more Green Shirts in our public schools!!  Then they can grow up to be really obnoxious adults who demand you do what they tell you to or you’re in Big Trouble, Mister!

And it’s not only schools….

Going Green – Eco-Friendly Installations

As part of the Army’s overall effort to conserve precious resources, the Army Reserve will now have facilities that will reduce the amount of waste it produces – by only using the energy it can generate.

This pilot program will be using net zero installations. Net zero means that these installations will consume only as much energy or water as they produce and eliminate solid waste to landfills.

Lord love a duck ~ Continue here.  Apparently, the civilian bosses of our Military feel that the focus of our troops should be on environmentalists’ wet dreams, tolerance (of a special few designated by an elite few), diversity (too many white folks in uniform getting promoted) and winning hearts and minds (of the enemy).

Anything but what warriors are trained to do.

But let’s not stop at Teh Religion of Gaia…

Atheists Seek Chaplain Role in the Military

Strange as it sounds, groups representing atheists and secular humanists are pushing for the appointment of one of their own to the chaplaincy, hoping to give voice to what they say is a large — and largely underground — population of nonbelievers in the military.

Read the article here and then go on over to Blackhawk to read their post on this.

Dear lord, if anyone gives this nonsensical, looney-tune concept a moment of serious thought, that person needs some serious help, asap.

And of course, the media is in lockstep ~ smear the Military:

A Beast in the Heart of Every Fighting Man — New York Times

Of course, while the murders in southern Afghanistan reflect most glaringly upon the men who committed them, the need to revisit these crimes goes beyond questions of culpability and motive in one platoon. As with Abu Ghraib and Haditha and My Lai, it’s hard not to consider how such acts also open a window onto the corroding conflicts themselves. This isn’t to suggest that military personnel are behaving similarly throughout Afghanistan as a result of the conditions there; it is only to say that 10 years into an unconventional war whose end does not appear imminent, the murder of civilians by troops that are supposed to be defending them might reveal more than the deviance of a few young soldiers in a combat zone.

Read the rest here.  My Lai is even brought up to make this writer’s point of deviance and murderous intent of our Troops.

(h/t  War News Update)

As WNU points out, this story was published on the same day that eight coalition Troops were murdered in Kabul:

Officials say an Afghan military pilot has opened fire on foreign troops in Kabul, killing eight coalition service members and a contractor, in the deadliest such incident since the war began in 2001.

Wednesday’s incident was the latest in a series of attacks by members of Afghan security forces or someone wearing one of their uniforms.

Earlier this month, an Afghan border guard shot and killed two U.S. soldiers in northern Faryab province. In February, a person wearing an Afghan army uniform killed three German soldiers and wounded six others in Baghlan province.

And last November, an Afghan border policeman killed six U.S. troops during a training mission in eastern Afghanistan.

The Gray Lady has gone senile – time to put her out to pasture.

Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, free press, private property, national defense, the US Constitution, for goodness sakes!  All under attack by those who profess to want to give every one the “American Dream”.   Unfortunately, their concept of the “American Dream” is more trickle-up-regulated-misery than freedom and prosperity acquired through the unalienable rights of human kind given to us by our creator.

This is not healthy for all living things and children.

“The People’s Budget” ~ TAX TAX TAX

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother, Politics

Congressional Progressive Caucus
April 6, 2011

Dear Ranking Member Chris Van Hollen:
Thank you for taking the time to discuss the fiscal year 2012 budget with progressive Members of
Congress. We agree that it is essential to offer a clear contrast to the monumentally reckless (ie: it won’t let us grow the government bigger) Republican  proposal. From the current budget debate, it is clear that Republicans are leading us down a road to ruin.  (We won’t be able to spread the wealth to all the programs that keep teh people dependent on the government ~ and us.)
Democrats stand with the people, (from union thugs and generational welfare families and abortion mills ~ can’t have them get all responsible and independent) and our legislative proposals should reflect that. (Oh, they do. They do.)
The Republican budget will wreak havoc on hard-working Americans. (They’ll be able to keep more of their money…for themselves!  This will never do!) They have proven, once again, their unwavering commitment to taking trillions of dollars from the pockets of the middle class and giving ever more generous windfalls to millionaires and large corporations. (ummm, no.  That would be your party, actually.) They want to throw seniors off Medicare. (Lie) Their slash-and-burn tactics (and you call the Tea Party extreme?!) will throw hundreds of thousands of people out of work. (You mean all those “non-essential” public servants?  And this is bad how?) They will eliminate health care for children and those with disabilities.  (But…but…I thought Obamacare was going to take of all these people?) They will fire teachers, firefighters and police – some of the truest heroes of our society.  (The Republicans can’t fire anyone.)
We must be clear (oh dear, here it comes!) – we will not and cannot stand for this recklessness. (Letting people keep their own money and grow the economy through the private sector is UNAMERICAN!) We must fight for the American people. (ie: the union thugs, welfare families and abortion mills.) We need a tax system that is fair (Actually, we need a tax system that includes everyone – not just the middle class.) and stops the giveaways for millionaires and corporations that ship American jobs overseas. (Gee, couldn’t be all those regulations and high tax rates you all have put on businesses that are driving companies out of the country, could it?) We need to close corporate tax loopholes being exploited at a great cost to taxpayers. We must cut subsidies to oil and gas companies currently reaping windfall profits at the expense of consumers. (We must cut subsidies in a lot of places – even your *gasp * pet donators.) We must protect Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security  (why?  it’s in freefall) – the safety nets that have made this country strong and prosperous. (No, it’s the small businesses and people who have dared to take a risk who have made this country strong and prosperous.  But what would you know about that?) The Republicans have opened an all-out attack to privatize and destroy them.  (Gee, what an evil concept.  People having control on how they spend or invest their own money.) We must invest in our children and make sure they have the same opportunities we have.  (It ain’t going to happen with your plan. Invest = Spend other people’s money.) We need to responsibly (What does that mean?  You all say that over and over again but you never define “responsibly”.) end the wars abroad and limit future military excursions that obligate tax dollars and the lives of young men and women with little direct benefit to the United States.  (Now that I agree with but more than likely not for the same reasons.) We should use this money to take care of our troops and veterans by making sure they have jobs and health care when they return.  (Privatize the VA and cut taxes so businesses can afford to espand and hire more people and STAY OUT OF OUR WAY!)
The best way to get us on track is to put the millions of Americans who would love to be taxpayers again
back to work building new infrastructure and a twenty-first century economy. (YIPPEE!  More public workers paying more union dues so you all have more money for your reelection campaigns!  Yeah, great idea…)
We can present a clear alternative to the American people. (Socialistic Democracy!!  Where WE rule!!!) We can and must produce a budget that eliminates the deficit,  protects the American people, and creates jobs. (ROFLMAO)
I would like to present you our alternative plan: “The People’s Budget.” (Oh, isn’t that a quaint name?  So 60’s.  So Marxist.) This budget saves the American people from the recklessness of the Republican majority. The attached memo outlines our plan. I hope you will give this due consideration as we move through the budget process.

Then there’s the “Republicans”:

Congressional Republicans Begin Planting Hit Jobs on Conservatives

First the House GOP required Democrats to get their three week continuing resolution passed – a continuing resolution that cuts less money than the interest on our national debt that will accumulate over the next three weeks.

Then the House GOP started bad mouthing the conservatives who voted against their plan.

Now the House GOP is launching a direct assault on . . . wait for it . . . conservatives.

Taxes, Oh My!

Author: yankeemom  //  Category: Big Brother

“If a government were trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of a population, what would it do?

1. The use of indirect rather than direct taxes, so that the tax is hidden in the price of goods.

2. Inflation, by which the state reduces the value of everyone else’s currency.

3. Borrowing, so as to postpone the necessary taxation.

4. Gift and luxury taxes, where the tax accompanies the receipt or purchase of something special, lessening the annoyance of the tax.
