These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero.

We Should Not Only Mourn These Men And Women Who Died, We Should Also Thank God That Such People Lived

If you believe this, I’ve gotta bridge…

The DGA has a page on their site that lists all the jobs created or saved by the Recovery act.  You just have to take a look at it.  Very entertaining, to say the least.

Recovery News

A rail system: check  (that should be interesting…)

Green jobs: check    (and we do what in the meantime?)

Casinos: check  (yeah, that has worked out really well…)

Union jobs: check  (Redundant, I know)

But my favorite is this one:

Markell Calms Angry Crowd of Jobless

# January 27, 2010 • Delaware Online

Gov. Jack Markell stepped in after a rally of out-of-work union members quickly turned tense when protesters threw shoes on the steps of Legislative Hall, refused orders to leave the front of the building and began chanting loudly, prompting Capitol Police to call for assistance from city and state police. The rally ended after Gov. Markell, scheduled for an appearance a few feet away, climbed onto the front of a state police SUV to address the crowd through a megaphone, promising to work to bring jobs to Delaware. “You’ve got my word,” Markell told them. “I’ll work to do everything we can to attract new jobs.” The workers eventually returned to Legislative Mall, and no arrests were made.

No jobs, but then, no arrests!!

And hey, you can take action!!

Recruit Your Friends and Family

By expanding the DGA’s network of supporters, you’re helping us stop the Republicans from hijacking America’s redistricting process — and taking over Congress when President Obama needs allies there more than ever.

To win this fight, the President is depending on as many committed activists joining our cause as possible. Please use the form below to invite your network of friends and family to join this vital effort. Every new voice brings us one step closer to victory.

Seems to me there’s a bit of projection going on there…just saying.

Here’s their delusional ad:

Can you then tell me why the states that have Democrat governors are in such dire straits and have the largest deficits and jobless rates?

The Most Important Story You Didn’t See Last Week (and Probably Won’t Ever See)

By William Tate

A Senate hearing last week confirmed the public’s worst concern about Barack Obama: that when it comes to national security, Obama hasn’t just been asleep at the switch — he hasn’t even bothered to find the switch….

US Marine: “The Rules of Engagement Prevent Me From Doing My Job”

Written by: Diana West

Someday, civilian and military leaders responsible for these rules of engagement, this policy of sacrificing American troops to make the barbarians of Afghanistan “like us” should come before at the very least a Congressional hearing, but at this point an out-for-blood people’s tribunal seems more appropriate. What they are doing to our military, our treasury, our power and our prestige is an unconscionable national betrayal…

But never fear, the DHS has everything under control!
