Once Again ~
why I watch less and less of the MSM and read the Milblogs and troops supporter blogs:
This needs to be sent to every damn news outlet out there, over and over again until they get it and start reporting the good stuff consistently:
Letter from the front: Turkey Day in Tikrit
I received a Thanksgiving e-mail and photos from Dr. Tim Cook, a family physician working at the ER at the 325 Combat Support Hospital outside Tikrit. Thought you’d enjoy hearing from him:
Happy Thanksgiving Day greetings from Iraq. Things have been going pretty well the last few days. When I initially got here, we were taking about four trauma patients a day from either improvised explosive devices (IEDs) or gun shot wounds. Only one out of four were Americans, the rest were Iraqi citizens, soldiers and police. The Americans faired well, only one had to go back to Europe for more surgery and should be back to duty in a couple of months…
Read the rest here.
Dr. Tim Cook writes so much what I have believed from the first reports out of the Middle East.
Most of what we hear about from the MSM is about torture (just so you all know, I don’t believe water boarding is torture and I do believe there are certain times when such methods of getting info is warranted. If our SEALS and SF can go through what they go through in their training, which is a lot worse than the detainees ever get, then what’s the issue here? Cutting off someone’s head with a dull knife is torture and all those exquisitely painful methods used by the Islamofascists to punish those who disagree with them are torture. That is never warranted. Don’t bother trying to change my mind ~ you’d be amazed at what I could do if someone went after my daughter. I do not live in the land of OM. And I don’t trust people who keep screaming “death to America”. Call me cynical if you want, I don’t care.)
And we hear about what a very few soldiers do that is outside the rules of engagement. It doesn’t even begin to register near 1% of all our military and the MSM paints the whole picture black. Days and days and days of reporting on something that lasted mere moments or hours and was investigated and appropriate steps were taken to rectify and punish those involved.
Maybe a paragraph on page 16 about a soldier helping out a family in need. Maybe.
We here about deserters as if the whole damn military was going AWOL. But the numbers of high retention and enlistments usually get a grudging and always qualified report, usually ending with a quote from a Code Pink and ANSWER anti-war soldier pet of the month (who may not even be a combat vet. But let’s not let facts get in the way of reporting.)
And those “Grim Milestones” ~ gleefully printed on the Front Page or leading the news.
How about some more front page reports about the hospitals built, the children being vaccinated for the first time ever, the schools re-opened, the fact that people have electricity in areas where they never had it while Hussein was doing such a bang up job as a murdering genocidal tyrant. One of the major reasons for the lack of electricity in largely populated areas 24/7 is because there are so many electric appliances being used now. The reconstruction isn’t going as fast as people are getting these things. And nevermind the fact that it’s the terrorists who keep blowing stuff up and trying to screw the Iraqis and the Afghanis, not the US military.
And oh, dear ~ the Iraqis seem to be taking their country back, themselves. And you know why? Because our military finally got it through to them that we are on their side and not turning tail, despite what certain politicians keep saying and pushing for.
Our military is doing a kick a$$ job and anyone who says differently will get a lesson in facts vs truthiness.
Can you tell I just watched Harry “the war is lost” Reid’s press conference before the Thanksgiving recess? Oh and Obey’s and Murtha’s pontifications about the Iraqi war spending.
Spin. Lie. Spin. Lie. Spin…dangerously so.

yankee mom: I hope that what you write IS indeed true. It has been so hard for the past seven years to know exactly WHAT is Spin. Lie. Spin. Lie. Spin.
It’s not the MSM I’m concerned about. I’m concerned about the Spin. Lie. Spin. Lie. Spin. that has continuously emanated from the mouth of the “Commander-in-Chief.” When the POTUS violates his oath of office and blatantly lies to his people, THAT should have been cause for impeachment–not NOW–but four years ago!
Every time you post a Wednesday hero or I see a hero honored on TV, I cringe and say to myself: WHY?
They are not defending us and our freedom in Iraq when here in our country our “leader” is doing away with our sovereignty with the building of the NAFTA superhighway and the secret agreements with Mexico and Canada for open borders! How are our soldiers protecting us in Iraq when here in our country a terrorist, Islamist or otherwise, can just waltz right in?
November 24th, 2007 at 12:11 pm
yankee mom: My sister is visiting from Tucson, Arizona. I just had her read your “Once Again” message and my response to it. HER response was that you would probably not believe what I wrote about the people coming over the borders. She said that every day there are illegal people coming into her neighborhood and it is impossible to tell if they are Mexicans or Arabs. They openly deal in drugs and break other laws and when they are reported to the local police the local police do nothing because most of them are also Mexican and even in cahoots with them. She said you are probably living in a nice, safe all-white neighborhood so you don’t see what she is seeing. They have to hit the floor every night because of these people shooting their guns in the streets. You may ask why don’t they move? Why should THEY have to move when their house is paid up and they have been living there for 50 years. THEY are American citizens and the ones “invading” their neighborhood are not. So why indeed are our brave soldiers thousands of miles away trying to bring safety and protection to the Iraqis when right here in America, there are American citizens who have no protection and safety?
November 24th, 2007 at 2:48 pm
Hey you gutless un-American, unpatriotic anti-military extremist; if you HATE President Bush so much, then WHAT THE HELL are you waiting for to run for President yourself???????
And what “lies” are you referring to? The “lies” about the rape rooms and torture chambers your buddy sodom used on the Iraqi people? The “lies” about the MASS GRAVES with hundreds of dead Iraqi’s in them???? The “lies” about American Soldiers immunizing kids and repairing roads and other infrastructure??????
Are are you even talking about the same war I was in 4 years ago??????????? What war are YOU talking about????
November 24th, 2007 at 5:38 pm
Excellent post, Yankeemom.
My kids tell me the same thing Dr Cook is saying - over and over! Eric is with the PAD in Tikrit and his stories of the great news on development are never printed in the MSM.
Watched Nightline last night - they did a segment about the hospital in Baghdad - focused on one soldier - all doom and gloom - but, he reenlisted last week - lLT Mark Little - I posted the story. The Nightline piece was presented as current, but it was over two months old and they did not bother with an update on Mark’s condition, let alone tell you he was very much alive.

PC: I do not HATE Bush; neither do I LOVE him as YOU do! But criticizing him does not make ME un-American, unpatriotic or an anti-military extremist.

”That’s not the way the world really works anymore. ‘We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality - judiciously, as you will - we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors… and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.” — Karl Rove, Sr. Advisor to G. W. Bush, 2000-2007

IB ~ You always make me smile. First of all, you can tell your sister that I lived in California for over half my life. I have seen neighborhoods that I lived in trashed and become very dangerous. I worked my butt off as a single Mom so my daughter could go to a private school where the number one language was english. I’ve lived next to gateway houses for illegals. I’d seen the cops and ICE come too many times and nothing change. My car has been hit by non-english speaking uninsured illegals. I have a childhood friend who lives in Arizona. Been there many times. I know about the invasion crossing our southern border. I’m also involved with a couple of grassroots organizations to stop the border nonsense.
I have issues with many things Bush is doing. I also have issues with Congress and the media. One reason I moved from CA to VA so I could be closer to DC. I’m also a member of Rolling Thunder and GOE because I have issues with how our vets have been treated since the Vietnam War.
Unfortunately where there are politicians involved, things have a tendency to go badly because of their power agendas. So I fight however I can.
See, the research I keep doing as the wars go on
has made me see that this is larger than Bush. We had serious problems in the Middle East way before either Bushs were President. And we will continue to as long as appeasement is the #1 defense. Sure as hell hasn’t worked so far. The border issue has been going on long before this Bush was President. Neither side of the aisle has been at all attentive on many matters because I really believe the American people got too complacent and fell asleep at the gate. Well, we’re waking up and seeing a lot of things that need fixing.
Just think tho, 19 serious attacks against the US have been foiled since 9/11. So I think you have to admit that some things are going good.
And what is going on in this country isn’t all Bush’s or Rove’s fault. It’s also the American people’s fault for continually voting in lousy Senators and Representatives, or not voting at all.
We don’t have much time left with Bush. That’s why I’m keeping an eye on the next elections. Because it’s the coming years that are really important and I want to vote for the person I think will take care of this country the best.
In another year, we’ll have a new administration and Congress. Hopefully there will be new and better folks aboard. Nothing is ever set in stone in this country. I just look back to my younger years and the difference is mindboggling. It’s our duty as citizens of this country to know the facts, not just the latest conspiracy theory or news bite, and then make informed decisions on who we put in office.

FG ~ I’ve watched too many shows about our military that have the doom and gloom spin. I knew a Marine in the TBI/Polytrauma unit at the Palo Alto VA hospital in CA who wouldn’t talk to the news people who wanted to interview him anymore, esp CNN, because he didn’t want to have his words spun negatively or be political fodder, as always seemed to happen.
Too many people I talk to are always so surprise when I tell them the good stuff that’s going on by way of our troops. They have no idea about all the building that’s being done or the businesses opening up etc etc.
Thank goodness for the milblogs and independent journalists!!
November 25th, 2007 at 7:07 am
PC ~ 4 years ago! Oh, you saw some of the worst of the worst, didn’t you. God bless you! I hope to meet you some day soon face to face and then I can shake your hand (and more than likely hug the stuffing out of ya!)
November 25th, 2007 at 12:06 pm
IB babbled: -”I do not HATE Bush; neither do I LOVE him as YOU do!”
LIAR!!!!!!
1. It’s OBVIOUS to anyone who reads your crap that you DO hate President Bush!
2. I NEVER said I loved President Bush. I disagree with him on more issues that I agree with him on. And for the record, I’m an INDEPENDENT!!!!!
- “But criticizing him does not make ME un-American, unpatriotic or an anti-military extremist.”
But your gutless, un-American, unpatriotic, anti-military hate speech DOES make you RESPONSIBLE for the ASSASSINATIONS of my brothers and sisters in Iraq by your gutless ragheaded buddies!!!!!
SO SHUT THE HELL UP, and stop getting my brothers and sisters assassinated!!!!
And Yankeemom; I guess you forgot we met in DC at the anti-military freak show on 9/15; I was the guy with the “Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran” hat and t-shirt :oD
But that’s ok; you can hug the stuffing out of me again next time we meet :oD
November 25th, 2007 at 7:04 pm
PC ~ I am so sorry to have forgotten - I bet if I look at my photos, I’ll remember! I met so many folks that day, being my first rally in DC. And I’ll be happy to hug ya again!
November 26th, 2007 at 12:19 pm
People up here seem to have no clue either. Mostly because they just swallow the msm doom and gloom which we also get up here..I also surprise lots of friends and strangers with what I KNOW is really going on. And no IB, it has nothing to do with Bush 1 or 2, altho I suspect I am more informed than you are…I go with facts of what OUR troops are accomplishing - I have friends….lol
I do have a specific comment..The bad apples in the US military were - as Yankeemom points out - dealt with, BUT I am amazed that out of 160,000+ American troops, that we don’t see more instances. And if there were more, you KNOW it would be front page news. Take ANY segment of any society, a random 160,000+, and you WILL have bad apples… Is the way of things. Meanwhile, the rest of the 160,000+ are busily doing the GREAT things….Do you see THEM on the front pages? Not so much..BUT yes, you can find them on the milblogs….:) Go figure….
Great job, as always, Yankeemom. Thank YOU for all that you do. And don’t forget, when you are hugging the stuffing out of ANY of our troops, you are also doing it on behalf of us that cannot - for now
- do it ourselves.
Thank you!!!
November 26th, 2007 at 12:40 pm
PC: I have said and done NOTHING to get my and your brothers and sisters assassinated in Iraq. The buck stops right in front of George W.’s desk and don’t you forget it and make ME responsible for the slaughter of our troops instead of HIM!
Why can’t you admit that HE is a worthless piece of you-know-what and that he should have been removed from office long ago?

DAMN RIGHT IT DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And if your gutless draft-dodging, pot-smoking, womanizing buddy cliton had cared more about NATIONAL SECURITY than about where his next blowjob was coming from with monica, we probably wouldn’t be fighting your gutless ragheaded terrorist buddies right now!!!!
IB - “Why can’t you admit that HE is a worthless piece of you-know-what and that he should have been removed from office long ago?”
Who said????????????????????????
So IB, what’s your opinion on your buddy cliton sending troops to contries that NEVER attacked us, like Bosnia, or Somalia, where 18 Army Ragers were assassinated for no reason????? cliton has the blood of those heroes on his hands right now, yet he’s NEVER apologized for their assassinations; WHY?????????????????????
BTW, FYI, you can NEVER win against me regarding the war on terrorism, so don’t even try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yankee Mom ~ Thank you for another well written post!
I am going out on a limb here with my thoughts on the war:
First: America needs to put the welfare of our Soldiers first and foremost in their thoughts and actions, when climbing on their soap boxes.
With the power of the internet, our enemies are able to easily grasp the words of the discontentors, gaining courage to battle against out troops.
Second: Politicians need to unleash our Soldiers. Change the rules of engagement and allow our men and women to suceed.
A Soldier recently explained to me what it is like to man a check point. Iraqis know the rules, but continue to test the system. They argue about using their false documents. They continue to talk on their cell phones while passing thru check points.
Yet, when our Soldiers take away thier forged documents or cell phones, our Soldiers are often repremanded.
WTH! Seriously, try to walk thru an American airport security point while talking on your cell phone, and then show them your poorly forged drivers license.
Untie the hands of our Soldiers and let them do their job.
Another grrrrrr…. while I am on a roll. If an Iraqi person refuses to open their door for a search, forcing us to break the door down… We should not be turning around and handing them money to repair the door!
Winning their hearts is one thing, being taken for fools is another.
Sorry Mom… One of those days.

PC: There you go again–blaming Clinton for the decisions and policies of George W. Bush. I don’t like Bill Clinton and I dislike even more what he did with Monica. But one thing he did not do was blame HIS predecessor, George H. W. Bush, for what he had to deal with when he became president in 1993. Clinton was left with the mess in Bosnia, Somalia and in Iraq from George H. W. Bush. Again, not making excuses for Bill Clinton, the same accusations can be made against YOUR buddy–a brainless, AWOL, cocaine sniffing, drunken, womanizing, paying for an abortion for Robin Garner, lying con-man, George W. Bush!

PC: Furthermore, when the next president comes into office in 2009, are you still going to be blaming everything that happened on Bush’s watch from January 20, 2001 to January 20, 2009 on Bill Clinton? Good grief! Don’t forget that Richard Clarke was trying early in 2001 to get brainless people like Condoleezza Rice to listen to him about bin Laden and terror, etc. and they kept blowing HIM off because all they could think about was how they were going to go after Saddam Hussein to finish the job in Iraq. Don’t forget how the CIA was running around “with their hair on fire” all through the summer of 2001 about intercepts they were getting and don’t forget about the PDB of August 6, 2001 that George W. completely ignored that bin Laden wanted to attack America. Once George W. took office on 1/20/01 the job was HIS and no longer Bill Clinton’s no matter what Clinton had or had not done! That’s how it works in case you didn’t know it. But the Bush butt-kissers are famous for passing the buck and keeping the “boy in the bubble” free from any blame of any kind about anything.
“First: America needs to put the welfare of our Soldiers first and foremost in their thoughts and actions, when climbing on their soap boxes.”
CavMom: Yes! Wouldn’t it have been great if George W. had thought about this before he sent our troops into harm’s way without a plan for what was going to happen after the initial “shock and awe?” The guy who used to blow up frogs when he was a little boy hasn’t progressed very far since that time!
November 27th, 2007 at 1:29 pm
Isn’t it comforting to know that someone such as IB - someone who doesn’t support troops, who doesn’t talk to troops who ARE there, HAVE been there, WANT to be there - knows so much more than anyone else.
Yep, she’s got MY vote for President. Talk about the blind leading the blind.
Hey, IB - where do I send my donation???
Disgusting to say the least.
November 27th, 2007 at 11:16 pm
Babbling IB - “PC: There you go again–blaming Clinton for the decisions and policies of George W. Bush.”
No I’m not, I’m blaming cliton for putting blowjobs from monica BEFORE NATIONAL SECURITY!!!!!
IB - “I don’t like Bill Clinton and I dislike even more what he did with Monica.”
PROVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IB - “Clinton was left with the mess in Bosnia, Somalia and in Iraq from George H. W. Bush.”

WHO sent those troops to places like Bosnia and other copuntried THAT NEVER ATTACKED US????????

YES YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IB - “Once George W. took office on 1/20/01 the job was HIS and no longer Bill Clinton’s no matter what Clinton had or had not done!”

At least President Bush has BALLS!!!!!
IB - “That’s how it works in case you didn’t know it.”
That’s whow what works?????

Sorry IB, but YOU LOSE AGAIN!!!!!!

You’re welcome brat!
It’s because of people like you who are supporting the troops AND THEIR MISSION the reason why we are kicking gutless ragheaded ass left and right over in Iraq! Cowards like IB are fortunately in an extremely small minority. he or she might be loud, but their drug-indiced babbling means nothing to REAL Americans!

“Clinton’s Strong Defense Legacy” by Michael O’Hanlon, From Foreign Affairs, November/December 2003
“The notion that President Bill Clinton was a poor steward of the armed forces has become so commonly accepted that it is now often taken for granted — among moderates and independents as well as Republicans such as George W. Bush, who made the charge in the first place. The Clinton administration, so the thinking goes, presided over an excessive downsizing of the U.S. military, seriously weakening the magnificent fighting machine built by Ronald Reagan and honed by George H.W. Bush. It frittered away American power and left the country an object of derision to its enemies, tempting them to misbehave.
This assessment, however, is wrong. The Clinton administration’s use of force (or lack thereof) may be controversial, but the Clinton Pentagon oversaw the most successful defense drawdown in U.S. history — cutting military personnel by 15 percent more than the previous administration had planned while retaining a high state of readiness and a strong global deterrence posture. It enacted a prescient modernization program. And the military it helped produce achieved impressive successes in Bosnia and Kosovo and, more significant, in Afghanistan and Iraq. Although these victories were primarily due to the remarkable dedication and skill of U.S. troops, credit is also owed to Clinton’s defense policy.
Advocates of military transformation, the current rage in defense policy circles, do not think that the Clinton administration went far enough in modernizing and reshaping the military. But this assessment is unfair. Although Clinton spent only half of what Reagan did on procurement, this was partly because much of the military’s antiquated weaponry had already been replaced during the Reagan buildup. Moreover, the Clinton Pentagon made good use of the scarce funds it had, purchasing key battlefield technologies and improving behind-the-scenes preparedness.
The technological superstars of the Afghanistan and Iraq campaigns included not only F-16 fighter jets, Abrams tanks, and Bradley fighting vehicles — built largely under Reagan — but unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVS), missile defense systems, satellite-guided weapons, and improved rapid-targeting and radar technology, developed chiefly during the Clinton years. The Predator UAV, for example, which was used to monitor key targets in Afghanistan and to attack fleeing terrorists, began as an experimental program in 1994. Global Hawk, a larger and higher-altitude UAV, was developed around the same time.
The Clinton years also saw the development of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile defense system, a huge improvement over the primitive Patriot system that performed so poorly in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.”
PC: No matter what you think and say, the disaster of 9/11/01 occurred on George W. Bush’s watch, not Bill Clinton’s. Clinton stopped the bloody genocide that was taking place in Bosnia and was ignored by George H. W. Bush as well as the genocide in Kosovo. Milosovic is behind bars. Where is Bush’s buddy, Osama?
November 28th, 2007 at 4:51 am
Actually, Milosovic is DEAD - for almost two years - and his trial was never completed - but, we know you don’t let facts get in your way.
How do you decide which genocide is worth stopping?
We know you thought Saddam’s was permissible.
November 28th, 2007 at 10:32 am
Flag Gazer: Yikes! I guess I have been so focused on the mess Bush has created in Iraq, that I missed Milosovic’s death in 2006. No one has ever APPROVED of Saddam Hussein’s mass graves, etc. However, Bush’s timing after 9/11 should have been to get bin Laden first before moving on to his “axis of evil” speech and stating that bin Laden was no longer relevant. Was bin Laden just a convenient patsy for “a new Pearl Harbor” that the neocons in the Project for the New American Century were calling for:
“Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzingy event–like a new Pearl Harbor. Domestic politics and industrial policy will shape the pace and content of transformation as much as the requirements of current missions.”
What a coincidence, right, that the neocons (the very same people that Bush put into his administration as soon as he took office) talked about a new Pearl Harbor in September, 2000 and then, miraculously, exactly one year later, they got it on September 11, 2001?
November 28th, 2007 at 10:50 am
O.K. so Milosovic is dead–good; so is Saddam Hussein and his evil sons! But bin Laden still roams free–if HE is indeed the guy responsible for 9/11. The mission has long been accomplished in Iraq! Why are we still there? But the mission of finding out and punishing the person(s) responsible for 9/11 has NOT been accomplished. I don’t believe that KSM was responsible. He is just another convenient patsy for this lying administration. What is the true story about bin Laden and his and his family’s ties to the Bush crime family? Will we EVER know the TRUTH? No!
November 28th, 2007 at 3:20 pm
IB - you make me tired and ill. You read and respond to what you wish to and not to everything. I won’t regurgitate it all for you again but I brought up Kosovo to you in a prior post. I reminded you that Clinton had left Kosovo in a total mess and disaster. I told you that I have a video of Clinton and Albright PROMISING (and they used that word) a school of children they would NOT forget them. That was in November 1999. The I told you about the abject poverty, unemployment, lack of utilities, food, etc. etc. etc. in Kosovo.
YOU apparently choose to gleam what you wish and use it to your own benefit to feel good and “atta boy” your boy Bill. He claimed victory (see his own foundation website for the quote) in Kosovo the turned his back on those people. People who still believe he WILL return to help them one day. People who are kind, intelligent, patient.
Children who yearn for an education but can’t get one because of lack of funding (where’d the UN billions go? Duh!). And on and on and on.
So stop your bellering. Research the facts instead of spewing and spouting your feelings. Bill Clinton’s foundation has plenty of money and resources to help the children of Kosovo (and you may remember I’ve been there numerous times in the past 3 years spending my OWN money and time to help out) but chooses to turn his back to them.
Yep….what a victory….stopped the genocide and left 2 million people in a vacuum and, apparently, could care less. Now that’s a leader. That’s a humanitarian for ya.
November 28th, 2007 at 6:19 pm
Leta: I have said before and will say again that I am NOT a Bill Clinton fan and he is NOT my “buddy!” I’m not even sure that he is the lesser of two evils between Bush Jr. and him. I just think it is really wrong to blame Clinton for everything that has happened on George W.’s watch. Bush Sr. wanted nothing to do with either Bosnia or Kosovo, I believe because there was no OIL at stake there. I only admire Clinton for stopping the bloodshed that was going on and on in those two countries without an end in sight. What he promised and what he has delivered I don’t know and whether he has money in his foundation for that purpose. You know more about that than I do. Is he supposed to use his personal money to help a nation? Does the Bush Crime Family use their personal money to help nations in distress? Clinton and Bush Sr. are good at raising money from other people’s pockets. I personally am sick to death of both the Bushes and the Clintons and am distressed that there is another Clinton campaigning at the moment. The minute Jeb Bush enters the race whether it still be in 2008 or in 2012, I will probably jump off of a bridge.

Which Clinton????? Chelsea??????
IB -“The notion that President Bill Clinton was a poor steward of the armed forces has become so commonly accepted that it is now often taken for granted — among moderates and independents as well as Republicans such as George W. Bush, who made the charge in the first place.”

IB - “The Clinton administration, so the thinking goes, presided over an excessive downsizing of the U.S. military, seriously weakening the magnificent fighting machine built by Ronald Reagan and honed by George H.W. Bush.”
He DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IB - “It frittered away American power and left the country an object of derision to its enemies, tempting them to misbehave.”
That’s IB’s buddy cliton.
IB - “This assessment, however, is wrong.”
No, it’s RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
IB - “The Clinton administration’s use of force (or lack thereof) may be controversial, but the Clinton Pentagon oversaw the most successful defense drawdown in U.S. history — cutting military personnel by 15 percent more than the previous administration had planned while retaining a high state of readiness and a strong global deterrence posture.”
All while getting as many blowjobs as possiblr in the Ocal Office!!!!
IB - “It enacted a prescient modernization program. And the military it helped produce achieved impressive successes in Bosnia and Kosovo”
Hey IB, do you remember the your buddy cliton had establishes a pull-out date from Bosnia, that he eventually CANCELLED???????????????
IB - “Advocates of military transformation, the current rage in defense policy circles, do not think that the Clinton administration went far enough in modernizing and reshaping the military. But this assessment is unfair.”
What’s unfair about it????????????
IB - “PC: No matter what you think and say, the disaster of 9/11/01 occurred on George W. Bush’s watch, not Bill Clinton’s.”
But if your gutless draft-dodging, pot-smoking, womanizing buddy cliton had taken your ragheaded buddy osama when his ass was offered to cliton on a silver platter, you wouldn’t ba making such an ass of yourself here!!!!!
IB - “Clinton stopped the bloody genocide that was taking place in Bosnia and was ignored by George H. W. Bush as well as the genocide in Kosovo.”
No he didn’t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PC: I give up! George W. Bush is a great guy, one of the best presidents in the history of the U.S.A. A real war hero! God bless him and the war that God told him to start in Iraq.
By the way, did you see that Karl Rove recently blamed the Democrats for rushing the Iraq resolution through the Congress right before the 2002 election? That’s our Karl–creating another fantasy world reality to protect the bubble boy’s butt!

“Bush’s Next Preemptive Strike”
“… What Bush will almost surely be pushing for is permanent U.S. bases in Iraq, enshrined in a pact he can sign a few months before he leaves office. And here, as they used to say, is the beauty part: As far as Bush is concerned, he doesn’t have to seek congressional ratification for such an enduring commitment of American force, treasure and lives.”
“… The president who waged a preemptive war now wants to lock in place a preemptive occupation. Only this time, instead of preempting a foreign nation, he is seeking to preempt Congress and his successor. It’s the logical conclusion for his misshapen and miserable presidency, and I doubt the American people — if they have any say in the matter — will stand for it.”

For those who think that 9/11 was Bill Clinton’s fault:
“Former Italian President and the man who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio Francesco Cossiga has gone public on 9/11, telling Italy’s most respected newspaper that the attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad and that this was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies.
“[Bin Laden supposedly confessed] to the Qaeda September [attack] to the two towers in New York [claiming to be] the author of the attack of the 11, while all the [intelligence services] of America and Europe … now know well that the disastrous attack has been planned and realized from the CIA American and the Mossad with the aid of the Zionist world in order to put under accusation the Arabic Countries and in order to induce the western powers to take part … in Iraq [and] Afghanistan.”
Coming from a widely respected former head of state, Cossiga’s assertion that the 9/11 attacks were an inside job and that this is common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies is highly unlikely to be mentioned by any establishment media outlets, because like the hundreds of other sober ex-government, military, air force professionals, allied to hundreds more professors and intellectuals - he can’t be sidelined as a crackpot conspiracy theorist.”

PC: Sorry, bud, but 9/11 was a neocon PNAC inspired inside job carried out by the Bush/Cheney/Tenet CIA and the Sharon Mossad. bin Laden was a convenient patsy just like Oswald was in 1963.
Your hero, GWB, is a damn liar and today the world finally knows it. Only lemmings like YOU won’t admit that you’ve been duped by a con man!
