Video: Police vs. Press at the White House

Reporters covering a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” protest at the White House today were forced out of Lafayette Square by police. The scene, captured on video, is remarkable given the historical importance of the park as a protest spot across the street from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

goodboydc April 20, 2010The police assigned to the White House literally told the media to leave today as six military vets were protesting the President’s inaction on DADT by handcuffing themselves to the White House gates. The mainstream reporters were not pleased, as shown in this video where one reporter, I believe, called the White House to complain. Video filmed by John Aravosis, AMERICAblog.com

The Protesters ~

My thinking about the DADT is leave it up to the Military.  No more, no less.

What is astounding about this is the reporters’ situation. And weren’t they just miffed aboout it!

Seriously, it does not bode well when our Press (as pitiful as they are) is told to leave any situation.

“This is the most transparent administration in the history of our country.”

Now ~ It wouldn’t have anything to do with the heckling Obama received at Ma’am Boxer’s rally…

Bear with all the political nonsense and hang in there to see Prez I Won get just a wee bit all wee-wee’d up.

There will be no hollerin’!! “You wanna come up here?”

Ooooooh….a certain someone does NOT like to be heckled. At All. Ever.

Have you ever seen him leave his teleprompters during a speech before?  I mean, really!
