It’s un-frickin-believable.
I have talked to soldiers who were at Gitmo and what they had to deal with from these detainees. Let’s just say they are not sweet and pretty folk. And they are extremely well-versed in how to play the system.
I do not know how these elected officials sleep at night. (Maybe they just count the money they take and take and take.) I do not understand how they keep getting reelected. If people would just watch them in action, showing time and time again, how out of touch and ignorant they actually are about the Military and the enemy we are facing, maybe, just maybe, they would find themselves out of a job. One could only hope.
But far too many people do not pay attention and nonsense such as the trials against the Haditha Marines and the Pendleton 8 go on and are given credence and justice finds it hard to prevail.
