Must Read of the Day ~

Pete Hespeth has a few things to say about Obama’s trip to Iraq and two resolutions about the war there coming up in the Senate:

Barack, Revealed  ~ Obama’s self-serving machinations in Iraq bespeak a candidate unfit to be commander-in-chief.

Monday’s New York Post included a revealing column by Amir Taheri, a respected commentator on the Middle East. The piece, bolstered by firsthand reporting, provided a troubling glimpse into Senator Barack Obama’s trip to Iraq in July….

Read the rest here.

I didn’t immediately jump on this because I don’t take anything written in the newspaper as gospel due to the many, many BS articles coming way too often the past several years.  But since Obama’s campaign spokesperson pretty much validated the claims in Taheri’s article and I know Pete Hespeth knows how to research something to find the facts, I think these actions of Obama’s should at least be investigated further.  Now.

If a tanning bed in  Governor’s Palin office bought with her own money can be written about as newsworthy, a presidential candidate trying to manipulate negotiations of the sitting President with the Iraqi government should have reporters on this like white on rice.  Unfortunately, because this is Obama, this will be ignored by the media as so many other red flags have been.

No surprise there.

Hespeth is correct in this raising huge questions about Obama’s judgement (or lack thereof), to not only act as President but more to the point, to act as Commander in Chief in time of major conflicts all around the world.  I have stated before my fear that he would place our troops in more danger than they already are.   Well, this solidifies that belief further.

This man is no more qualified to hold the highest office in the land than a paper clip.

On second thought, the paper clip would be of more use.

The Lieberman-Graham resolution (S.R. 636)

The Levin-Reed resolution has not been posted as yet.  (surprise!)

No surprise that the flower power socialist BSM (BS media) is deaf when it comes to the dirt surrounding their second-generation comrade Barack Hussein Obama, but good to know that the New York Post made a difference.

Anyway, the BSM won’t stop the McCain/Palin ticket and the era of the mentally ill flower power socialists is running out — it’s just a matter of time.

Tom ~ I hope you’re right. I do believe that the Silent Majority is not going to stay so silent anymore. They’re getting hit in the wallet and that usually gets their attention.

  3. Tom Says:

I fully agree, Yankeemom! Like John McCain said… Stand up and fight for what is right!
