CAIR files FEC complaint: Obsession distribution a Zionist plot
Despite the fact that the film Obsession contains no political content and was made well before the 2008 election cycle began, CAIR, those paragons of Islamic moderation and honesty, would now have you believe that the national distribution of the DVD was an Israeli plot to elect John McCain….
CAIR has repeatedly threatened lawsuits on organizations and individuals they deem offensive to Muslims.
Jihad Watch has several articles on CAIR’s activities as does Act! For America.

The above articles are rather discomfiting. I have always distrusted people who bought into the whole political correctness thing because it seemed to me to be the first step to Big Brother control ala “1984″. That book by Orwell gave me nightmares. When I found out long ago, that other countries weren’t like the US and people were imprisoned, tortured or “disappeared” for saying or doing something the government didn’t like, I was absolutely horrified. Of course, growing up with the shadow of Hitler, the Holocaust and the Cold War being a part of life left me with a decided bias against any kind of brown shirt, totalitarian mentality. (Duck and Cover!!)
In my travels, I have become friends with people who have survived living with such governments. Tattooed numbers on wrists and stories of family and friends who were taken away in the night, never to be seen again. Stuff of nightmares for me…tragic reality for them.
Before anyone thinks I’ve just gone from zero to sixty in less than the time it took me to write this, consider how Hitler started - subtly and slowly, charming the German people and promising them change. The Italian people adored Mussolini at first, believing him to be a new type of politician.
Political correctness, social thought control, the revising of history, media blackouts, sensitivity training, winning lawsuits for being offended, “class warfare”, entitlements for politicized “victims”…all exist here, now.
How many times have you censored yourself in a conversation and not just out of politeness, but because of the company you were in? Have you been to a tolerance and diversity workshop for your job? Was it mandatory? What social regulations has your City Council voted on in the past few years? How many places do you go where there’s the unwritten rule of no discussions of religion and politics? How many words do you longer use? How many times have you not given your opinion for fear of being shunned by the group you find yourself in? If you have kids, how often have you had to go head to head with a teacher and/or the Principal because your child upset a classmate just by being a kid? How many times have you been astounded by what your kid is learning in school? Or not learning? Have certain foods disappeared from your kid’s school menu? Just how many personal changes have occurred in your life the past couple of decades due to PC bullying?
How much do the freedoms this country was founded on mean to you?

Well, the socialist one-world movement is still alive and these mentally ill fanatics and fascists can be found everywhere (i.e. media, political parties, civil rights movement, schools, colleges, universities etc.) and they are well organized (i.e. United Nations, European Union, Third Way, Socialist International, Education International, World Social Forum etc.). The reason why socialists got so much power since the 1960’s is easy to explain. Populism sells — and that’s what socialists (they are not and never have been ‘liberals’) are doing all the time! By the way, calling socialist ‘liberals’ is the biggest mistake conservatives can do — but they do it! Nobody would call socialist such as Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao etc. ‘liberals’, right? It’s like calling an enemy ‘brother’…

One world government just doesn’t do it for me - just seems like a handful of people controlling everything. Which is what those who push this populist nonsense dream of achieving. It’s so amazing to me that those who kneel at the feet of those who would rob them blind of everything that makes an individual, just can’t seem to get that.
Do the majority of people just want to be told what to do, think, etc? That is just too scary a thought.

Absolutely! That’s why we — the ones who want to stay free and independent –, always have to educate our fellow citizen that socialism is the road to tyranny and slavery — and that there’s only one leader, his name is Jesus, we have to follow. Jesus was neither a socialist nor was he a tree hugger or a weed smoker. In fact, he was God’s best soldier and he fearless fought the socialist hypocrites and tyrants. That’s why we praise his name and why socialists fear him! We are not only God’s children, we are God’s army and it’s our lifetime duty to stand up and fight for what is right!

And that’s another thing that will go down the tubes - individual religions. If those who assume control of the masses even allow a religion, it will be state-controlled. Having the 10 Commandments on a courthouse wall will be the least of the people’s problems then.
